x to y,
y to x,

应该是copy down the web link and send to more people,

Lions Befriender Service Association (Singapore)
LBSA is a Voluntary Welfare Organisation set up by the Lions Clubs of Singapore in 1995 and a Lions District Project. Our island-wide Befriending Programme reaches out to some 1,800 lonely elderly, aged 65 years and above, through weekly visitation by 850 trained volunteers and social/recreational activities. We are also committed to enhance their quality of life by improving their living conditions and facilitating better co-ordination in the provision of community-based care and support services.

From April 2005, the Befriending Programme will be focusing on serving the frail and vulnerable elderly (under the directive of Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports). The ambulant elderly are being divested progressively to the Neighborhood Links, Seniors Activity Centres and People Association’s Mutual Help Scheme.

LBSA also organises other related support projects. Some examples are our annual Donation Draw and Charity Golf Tournament. All proceeds from fund-raising effort go towards aiding in the funding of our 5 Centres located at different parts of Singapore. These LBSA Centres provide care and support to elderly residing at the respective blocks within their neighbourhoods. They also conduct a wide variety of programmes and activities that benefit the elderly.
